Essentiale MAX is a medicine intended for the relief of symptoms associated with liver damage, such as loss of appetite and feeling of pressure in the right side of the upper abdomen.

Contains essential phospholipids extracted from soybeans, which help regenerate and protect the liver.

Forms of release

Essentiale MAX is available as hard capsules. Each capsule contains 600 mg of essential phospholipids from soybeans. The package contains 30 capsules.

Active substance: essential phospholipids 600 mg (from soybeans).

Other components: refined soybean oil, solid fat, hydrogenated castor oil, ethanol, ethyl vanillin, alpha-tocopherol, gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide (E172).

Indications for use

Dosage regimen

The usual recommended dose is 1 capsule three times a day, administered during meals, with a sufficient amount of liquid (preferably a glass of water).

Important! The duration of treatment is generally unlimited, and long-term administration under medical supervision is recommended.

Contraindications

Essentiale MAX is not recommended in the following cases:

Allergy to essential phospholipids, soy, peanuts or any of the components of the drug.
Children under 12 years old.
Particularities of use

Taking this medicine does not replace the need to avoid toxic factors that can damage the liver, such as alcohol.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should only be done with a doctor's advice.

Side effects

Essentiale MAX may cause the following side effects:

Gastric discomfort, loose stools, diarrhea (uncommon).

Allergic skin reactions such as rashes and hives (very rare).

If you notice side effects, stop taking and consult a doctor.

Interactions with other drugs and foods

Essentiale MAX may interact with anticoagulant medications. In this case, the dose of the anticoagulant may need to be adjusted. Consult your doctor for recommendations.

Storage conditions

Store Essentiale MAX at temperatures below 25ºC, away from moisture and out of the reach of children.
