Description
Otrivin is a nasal spray intended for use in clearing a blocked nose. The active substance of Otrivin is xylometazoline hydrochloride. The spray reduces the discomfort of a runny nose by constricting blood vessels and reducing nasal congestion. As a result of this action, the amount of secretion produced is reduced and the nasal mucosa is hydrated.
Otrivin 0.1% nasal spray - properties
Otrivin is characterized by a fast and long-lasting effect, which is felt after 2 minutes and lasts up to twelve hours. The convenient form of aerosols ensures a uniform dispersion of the solution over the entire surface of the nasal mucosa in one suitable dose. It can be used by adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
The product is ideal for a blocked nose, it also facilitates nasal breathing and, thanks to the moisturizing properties of the specially developed formula, it also prevents the mucosa from drying out.
