Ambroxol syrup, 15 mg/5 ml, 100 ml, Rompharm

Indications:
Ambroxol Rompharm is used for:
Secretolytic treatment, used in the treatment of acute bronchial diseases and exacerbation episodes of bronchopneumopathy, or of other chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport
Suitable for the treatment of acute bronchial diseases and exacerbation episodes of bronchopneumopathy or other chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport
Product without sugar, fast absorption

Contraindications:
Do not use Ambroxol Rompharm:
- if you are allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Ambroxol Rompharm, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Do not use Ambroxol Rompharm during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommended by your doctor.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Ambroxol Rompharm has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive vehicles and use machines.

Administration method:
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Children aged between 1 and 12 years:
The following doses are recommended depending on the severity of the condition:

Children aged between 6-12 years: 5 ml of syrup (1 large measuring spoon) 2-3 times a day.

Children aged between 2 and 6 years: 2.5 ml of syrup (1 small measuring spoon) 3 times a day.

Children aged between 1 and 2 years: 2.5 ml of syrup (1 small measuring spoon) 2 times a day.

Adults, adolescents and children over 12 years:
The recommended dose is 10 ml of Ambroxol Rompharm syrup (2 large measuring spoons) 3 times a day for the first 2-3 days, then 10 ml of Ambroxol Rompharm syrup (2 large measuring spoons) 2 times a day.

For adults, if necessary, doses can be increased up to 60 mg ambroxol hydrochloride (20 ml Ambroxol Rompharm syrup) twice a day.

Ambroxol should be taken during meals.
It should not be used for more than 4 - 5 days without a doctor's recommendation.

Composition:
- 5 ml of syrup (a large measuring spoon) contain ambroxol hydrochloride 15 mg. 2.5 ml of syrup (a small measuring spoon) contain ambroxol hydrochloride 7.5 mg.
