Bloxivir Nasal Spray, gel, 20 ml, USP

Bloxivir® Nasal Spray is intended for daily protection against viruses that produce including COVID-19, colds and flu. It can be used several times a day, both preventively (prophylactically) and as a treatment, in adults and children over one year old.

• Medical device
• After application on the nasal mucosa, it creates a film that acts as a mechanical barrier against pathogens, and the ingredients in the composition - iota-carrageenan, sodium hyaluronate and ectoin - deactivate pathogens.
• Bloxivir® is both a method of preventing and combating viral infections of the upper respiratory tract, caused, among others, by influenza viruses and coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2.

Indications:

1. BLOCKS VIRUSES AND PROVIDES PROTECTION AGAINST THE PENETRATION OF VIRUSES INTO THE BODY AND THE SPREAD OF VIRUSES (by limiting transmission from symptomatic or asymptomatic persons to other persons).
2. SOOTHES SYMPTOMS OF INFECTIONS AND SUPPORTS TREATMENT
- Blocks the multiplication of viruses and calms the symptoms of viral infections of the respiratory tract, including rhinitis and acute paranasal sinusitis.
3. SHORTENS THE DURATION OF DISEASE caused by bacterial or viral infections of the nasal mucosa and reduces the probability of bacterial superinfection.

The protective effect starts immediately after application and lasts up to 5 hours.

Way of ussage:

• Type of administration: Nasal administration
• For: Adults and Children starting with the age of one year: 1 dose of gel in each nostril, at intervals of 4-5 hours between applications.
• The 20 ml package contains 200 doses of the product.
