Maca (Lepidium Meyenii Walpers) is a small root that grows in the Andes of Peru at an altitude of 3500-4300 meters above sea level and is therefore the most cultivated plant in the world. Maca root for Royal Green is harvested after 8 months of natural growth, then dried and picked by hand - only roots of suitable size and color are selected. In the Royal Green Bio Maca preparation, 80% black, 15% purple and 5% yellow roots are used. The product is dried at a maximum temperature of 45 °C. Due to this fact, it contains the widest possible spectrum of nutrients and brings the maximum effect.

While Maca is a well-known herb, few people have discovered its true potential. This is due to the low quality of the products available, mostly in the form of slightly yellowish and sweet smelling Maca powder.
