Description
Otrivin Katar i Zatoki is an over-the-counter (OTC) aerosol medicine suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. The drug is used to treat excessive nasal congestion that occurs during colds, hay fever, allergic rhinitis, and sinusitis. The drug restores comfort by reducing the congestion of the nasopharyngeal mucosa, so it can also be used as an aid in otitis media. Facilitates nasal examination (rhinoscopy).
Otrivin Qatar and Gulf – properties
- The active substance of Otrivin Katar i Zatoki is xylometazoline hydrochloride, which, when applied topically to the nose, narrows the blood vessels, thereby reducing congestion and swelling of the nasal mucosa. Clears blocked nose, making breathing easier.
- The excipients contained in the medicine, i.e. menthol and eucalyptol, leave a cooling sensation.
- The effect of the drug begins in the first two minutes after application and lasts up to 12 hours.
- Otrivin Qatar and Gulf aerosol contains no preservatives.
- It has a refreshing scent of menthol and eucalyptol.
- The bottle has a pump that allows the exact amount of medicine to be dispensed.
