Ibugrip Plus is a medicine to relieve cold and flu symptoms, combining two active ingredients: ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) known for its ability to reduce fever, inflammation and pain, while pseudoephedrine is an effective nasal decongestant that helps clear the airways.
Forms of release
Ibugrip Plus is available as film-coated tablets, which can be taken orally, in boxes of 10 or 20 tablets.
Each tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.
Indications for use
Ibugrip Plus is indicated in the following situations:
- Relief of symptoms associated with colds and flu, including headache, fever, muscle and joint aches and pains, and nasal congestion.
- Relieve symptoms of acute sinusitis (headache and sinus pressure).
Ibuprofen has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic action, and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride has a decongestant effect on the upper airways and sinuses.
The medicine does not treat the cause of the cold or flu, but only helps relieve symptoms during the illness.
Dosage regimen
For adults and children over 12 years of age, the recommended starting dose is 1-2 film-coated tablets. If necessary, treatment should be continued with 1-2 film-coated tablets every 4-6 hours.
The maximum recommended dose is 6 film-coated tablets in 24 hours (1200 mg ibuprofen).
Contraindications
Ibugrip Plus is contraindicated in the following situations:
- allergy to the active substances in Ibugrip Plus or to any of the other ingredients in this medicine
- attacks of bronchospasm, rhinitis, urticaria or angioedema to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
- ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or small intestine
- severe liver, kidney or heart failure
- active bleeding
- condition of unknown origin resulting in abnormal blood cell formation
- hypertension
- angina pectoris
- diabetes mellitus
- pheochromocytoma
- hyperthyroid
- angle-closure glaucoma
- prostatic hyperplasia
- epilepsy
- if you are taking certain antidepressants
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding

Important! Ibugrip Plus is recommended to be taken with food, with or after meals, to minimize possible gastrointestinal side effects.
Side-effects

Storage conditions
