Borja is an annual plant that belongs to the borage family. It is distinguished by blue flowers in the shape of a five-pointed star with an intense cucumber scent. The plant-based raw material is the cold-pressed borage seeds from which the oil is obtained. It is a rich source of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The most important of them is gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The name of these acids comes from the need to supply them with food, since their synthesis does not take place in the human body. EFAs are also called vitamin F, which is essential in the diet, which comes from the English word Fatty Acids. The scope of the GLA largely depends on the form of application. When administered externally, it passes only into the stratum corneum of the epidermis and fills the intercellular space. When taken orally, it crosses multiple barriers and penetrates the dermis.* The preparation has been enriched with vitamin E, which helps protect DNA, proteins and lipids from oxidative damage.-400 mg GLA in daily dose
