Description
Xylogel 0.1% is a medicine intended for adults and children over 12 years of age. The preparation is in the form of a gel. It contains the active substance xiometazoline hydrochloride, which reduces the amount of secretions accumulated in the nose. The product relieves the runny nose, reducing swelling and congestion of the nasopharyngeal mucosa and facilitating breathing.
When applied to the mucous membrane, Xylogel 0.1% causes the narrowing of blood vessels. Due to its gel consistency, it hydrates the nasal mucosa and does not drain into the bottom of the nasal cavity and into the throat.
