How is it used?

Dissolve the contents of one sachet in a glass of hot but not boiling water (about 250 ml of water). It can be started to drink when the solution has cooled to an acceptable temperature.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as written in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Recommended dose:

Adults, elderly patients and adolescents over 16 years of age who weigh 50 kg or more:

One sachet every 4 to 6 hours as needed.

Do not take more than 3 sachets (3 doses) in 24 hours (equivalent to 3000 mg of paracetamol; 36.6 mg of phenylephrine chloride and 600 mg of guaifenesin).

Always leave an interval of at least 4 hours between individual doses. Use the lowest effective dose needed to improve symptoms for the shortest time possible.

Do not use for more than 3 days. If after 3 days the problems persist or worsen or the cough is accompanied by a high fever, rash or persistent headache, see a doctor.

Theraflu Forte flu and hot cough drink should not be used in adults, elderly patients and adolescents over 16 years of age with a body weight of less than 50 kg.

Do not exceed the prescribed dose.
