Rapid test for thyroid disorders (TSH)
Thyroid disorders are one of the most common medical conditions in the world, especially in women, an increasing proportion of the population suffering from an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism).
Thyroid hormone production is regulated by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), which is produced by the pituitary gland. This, in turn, is regulated by the hypothalamus, an area of the brain. TSH ensures that enough thyroid hormones are produced to meet the body's needs. Hypothyroidism can occur if the function of the thyroid gland is affected or if it is not properly stimulated by the hypothalamus or the pituitary gland. Symptoms of hypothyroidism include feeling tired and lethargic, weight gain, dry skin, forgetfulness, depression and more.
Do you want to check the health of the thyroid gland? Thyro-Check Test is a rapid immunodiagnostic test for the detection of elevated levels of TSH and thus helps in the screening of hypothyroidism with a blood sample obtained from the finger.
