Characteristics:
The Rapid Combo Antigen COVID-19 & Influenza A+B test is a single-use test for the qualitative detection of influenza A nucleocapsid protein antigen and viral antigen and COVID-19 antigen in nasal swab samples.
The test is intended for home use by self-sampling with nasal swabs
to persons with a minimum age of 12 years. sampling from persons under 12 or over 70 must be carried out under the guidance and assistance of their guardian. People who cannot take the test alone must ask for help.
The test is intended for symptomatic people and will be performed within 7 days of the appearance
symptoms and asymptomatic persons who have come into contact with positively diagnosed persons or who are suspected to have been infected.
Positive results may indicate the presence of influenza and SARS-CoV-2 infection. People who test positive should self-isolate and seek additional care from their healthcare provider.
Positive results are not indicative of a bacterial infection or co-infection with other viruses.
Negative results are not indicative of influenza and SARS-CoV-2 infection. People with a negative test who continue to have flu or COVID symptoms should seek care from their healthcare provider.
