Swanson ® L. Reuteri Plus is a food supplement that contains probiotic bacteria supplemented with fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), considered prebiotics. The formula was developed to complement the daily diet of adults.
What distinguishes L. Reuteri Plus capsules from Swanson ® ?
Lactobacillus reuteri is a strain of lactic acid bacteria. They occur naturally, among others: in the digestive tract. Each Swanson® brand capsule contains 7 billion bacterial cells of the genus Lactobacillus, including L. reuteri , L. rhamnosus and L. acidophilus with the addition of 200 mg of NaturaFlora ® scFOS ® . Valuable active ingredients have been included in EMBO ® AP vegetarian capsules with so-called delayed release. These allow the ingredients to be protected against the effects of stomach acid, and thus allow the capsule to safely reach the digestive tract, specifically the intestines, where it dissolves.
L. Reuteri Plus Digestive Health Swanson ® is recommended for once-daily use, and a pack of 30 vegetarian capsules will provide one month of daily supplementation.
