Glycerin suppositories for children can be used in case of constipation, after surgery or before the endoscopic examination of the rectum.
Properties:
- Stimulates bowel evacuation through emollient and lubricating action.
Ingredients:
Each suppository contains: glycerol (1400mg), stearic acid, sodium carbonate and purified water.
Administration method:
Glycerin suppositories for children are administered intrarectally, after removing the packaging.
Usually, in case of constipation, a suppository is administered as needed.
In the case of preparation for the endoscopic examination of the rectum, a suppository is administered 30 minutes before the intervention.
