Strepsils Honey and Lemon pills contain the active substances amylmetacresol and dichlorobenzyl alcohol, which have antiseptic effects, that is, they destroy bacteria, viruses and yeasts that cause sore throats and inflammation in the oral cavity and pharynx.

Excipients

Tartaric acid, purified honey, peppermint silica and terpenated lemon silica (essential oils contain citral, d-limonene, geraniol and linalool), quinoline yolk, liquid sucrose, spray-dried liquid glucose (from wheat starch).

Contraindications

Do not use Strepsils Honey and Lemon if you are allergic to amyl metacresol and dichlorobenzyl alcohol or any of the other ingredients in this preparation.

Possible side effects

Exceptionally, hypersensitivity reactions manifesting as a burning sensation in the mouth, rash, fever, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea or an unpleasant sensation in the mouth may occur. In case of any side effects, consult a doctor.
