Description
Strepsils® with honey and lemon is a medicine used in inflammation of the mouth and throat . Hard pills contain two active substances: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol in doses suitable for adults and children over 6 years of age.

Each Strepsils® lozenge with honey and lemon contains two ingredients with antibacterial and antiviral properties . 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol and amylmetacresol are antiseptics that also act in a similar way to local anesthetics. When used in combination, they have a synergistic antibacterial effect, allowing a reduction in the combined dose used in Strepsils ® pills. In addition, the excipient - honey, has a soothing effect on the throat .
Strepsils ® honey lozenges with lemon bring rapid relief of sore throat, already at the first symptoms. The onset of the antiviral effect occurs only 1 minute after the administration of the drug*. The drug can be used for the symptomatic treatment of throat diseases.
