Sterilizer and dryer for baby bottles AC178, Dr. Browns

- They must be able to withstand contact with hot water so that they can be sterilized in this device. Please check this aspect with the manufacturer of the other products.

To use:
- Before using this device, it is important that all bottles, their components and/or other accessories are clean. They must be washed, rinsed and emptied.
- Place this device on a flat surface and away from the reach of children, where it cannot be tipped over or moved during operation. Detach the lower shelf, the tray and the cover from the base.
Fill the measuring cup with 110 ml of DISTILLED water and put the water over the stainless steel heating plate on the base of the device
Note: do not exceed the recommended amount of water
Note: tap water and bottled water contain minerals that can shorten the life cycle of this device. Damage caused by the use of non-distilled water voids the Warranty.
Place the lower shelf on the base of the device and arrange the bottles face down over the supports on the lower shelf. Place the bottle accessories (eg teats, collars, caps, etc.) on the tray.
Note: If using Dr. Brown's Bottles and their components, see Image A through Image H on page 6 for suggestions on placement options. Both narrow-necked and wide-necked bottles are presented.
Note: always replace the lower shelf on the base before starting the sterilizer.
Place the tray over the shelf and fix the lid on the tray. Make sure that you have fixed the lid well on the tray without leaving gaps between the two components;
Connect the power cable to the outlet and press the Power button.
Sterilization only functions:
Follow steps 1-6 presented on pages 2&3 and then press the "Sterilize Only" button once. The device will make a sound and the sterilization cycle will begin.
When the sterilization cycle has ended, the device will beep 5 times and close automatically.
Note: wait 10 minutes to allow the components to cool before transferring anything from the device.
Note: This cycle lasts 9 minutes but may vary due to the amount of water you need to add, the number of objects to be sterilized or other environmental factors.
If insufficient water is added, the device will beep 5 times to remind you that the sterilization time may not be sufficient to disinfect the bottles and their accessories and the optical indicator will light up. Wait 10 minutes to allow the unit to cool down, then press the Power button to reset the device and repeat steps (7) and (8) above. If no action is taken, the optical indicator will light up for 2 hours and after that the device will turn off automatically.
Warning: Do not touch the lid, the tray or the bottom shelf when the sterilization process is started because these surfaces become hot.
Dry Only function:
Press the Power button, then press the Dry Only button once. The machine will make a sound and the drying cycle will start.
When the drying cycle is finished, the device will beep 5 times and close automatically.
Note: This cycle lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Automatic Sterilization/Drying function
Follow steps 1-6 presented on pages 2&3, then press the Auto Sterilization/Drying button once. The device will make a sound and the sterilization cycle will start;
After the sterilization cycle ends, the drying cycle starts automatically. The drying cycle lasts approximately 45 minutes.
Warning: While the unit is changing from the sterilization cycle to the drying cycle, you may notice a large release of steam as the fan starts. Keep a safe distance from the unit while this cycle is in operation.
When the drying cycle is finished, the device will beep 5 times and shut off automatically.
Note: If insufficient water is added, the device will beep 5 times to remind you that the sterilization time may not be sufficient to disinfect the bottles and their accessories. The optical indicator will light up. Press the Power button to reset the device and repeat steps 11-
If no action is taken, the optioc indicator will light up for 2 hours and after that the device will turn off automatically.
