Description
Soledum® Forte is a medicine in the form of soft enteric capsules, used as an expectorant in the treatment of productive cough , also known as wet cough. The preparation is also indicated in the adjuvant treatment of acute, nonpurulent sinusitis and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.
By reducing the production of secretions and inflammation, Soledum ® Forte relieves symptoms such as headache, runny nose, stuffy nose, shortness of breath and cough. It reduces the intensity of the cough and helps expectoration more effectively. It has a bronchodilator effect and reduces breathing difficulties. It has antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties*.
Soledum ® Forte capsules for wet cough - active substance
The active substance of Soledum ® Forte is 1,8-cineole ( Cineolum ). Each capsule contains 200 mg of 1,8-cineole. This dose is suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age.
1,8-cineole, also called cineole or eucalyptol, is isolated as the main component of eucalyptus oil. 1,8-cineole supports expectoration and has a secretomotor effect - favors the elimination of excess secretions from the respiratory tract.
Due to clinical studies, Soledum ® Forte has documented effects and a favorable safety profile. This medicine is available without a prescription, suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
The medicine package contains 20 soft capsules.
