SeptaNazal ^® nasal spray for adults is a medicine in the form of a solution for local use. The medicine contains two active substances: xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexopanthenol.

What are the indications for the use of SeptaNazal ^® running nasal spray (1 mg + 50 mg)/ml?

SeptaNazal ^® in the form of a nasal spray can be used in adults, adolescents and children over 6 years of age . It is recommended:

• to reduce mucosal swelling in rhinitis and in the adjunctive treatment of nasal mucosal damage,
• in the treatment of non-allergic mucositis (vasomotor rhinitis),
• in the treatment of nasal obstruction after nasal surgery.

The most common symptoms of acute rhinitis include: runny nose, sneezing, irritation, burning, dry mucous membranes and red skin around the nose.

Active substances of ^SeptaNazal® for adults

Xylometazoline hydrochloride has a vasoconstrictive effect on the nasal mucosa and reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa and the amount of secretion. This relieves the stuffy nose. The onset of effect is usually observed within 5 to 10 minutes, as easier nasal breathing due to decreased mucosal swelling and improved secretion flow.

Dexpanthenol is a derivative of the vitamin pantothenic acid, which has wound healing properties and protects the epithelium of the nasal mucosa.

1 ml of solution contains xylometazoline 1 mg and despanthenol 50 mg. This combination of active substances quickly cleans the nose and regenerates the mucous membrane.

A pack of ^SeptaNazal® nasal spray with xylometazoline and dexpanthenol for adults contains 10 ml of solution - enough for 90 doses . The convenient applicator allows precise dosing.
