Celtic salt is also known as gray salt, due to its color that differentiates it from other types of salt such as Himalayan or regular sea salt.
Celtic salt is a sea salt that is mined from the Atlantic, in France, on the coast of Great Britain.
It is extracted by the Celtic method, that is, only wooden tools are used for extraction and drying, without metal. The salt is naturally dried in the sun.
Being an unrefined salt, we find in it all 84 trace elements present in sea water and in our body.
