Indications:
It is used to alleviate pain and inflammation caused by various conditions such as osteoarthritis,
rheumatoid polyarthritis, in the case of painful or swollen joints, of mild or moderate pain
headache, toothache, pain during the menstrual cycle and postoperative pain. drug
prevents the body from producing the chemicals that cause pain and inflammation.

Composition:
- The active substance is ibuprofen. One film-coated tablet contains 200 mg of ibuprofen.
- The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, Opadry Pink OY-1383 containing hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc, erythrosine-aluminum lake (E 127).

Administration method:
The usual recommended dose for adults is between 400 mg (two 200 mg film-coated tablets) every 8 hours and 600 mg (three 200 mg film-coated tablets) every 8 hours.
In severe conditions, the maximum recommended dose is 800 mg (four 200 mg film-coated tablets) every eight hours. You don't need to take more than that.
Children:
The usual recommended dose for children aged 8-12 years is 200 mg (one 200 mg film-coated tablet) three or four times a day.
Children under 8 should not take this medicine.
Elderly, hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency:
If you are elderly or have low body weight, kidney or liver disease, your dose may be lower than those stated above. Your doctor can explain the reasons for choosing this dose.
If you exceed the recommended dose, consult your doctor immediately, even if you do not feel sick.

Contraindications:
Do not take Rupan:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ibuprofen or any of the other components of this medicine.
- if you have had swelling of the face, breathing difficulties or difficult breathing or bronchial asthma after using ibuprofen or another anti-inflammatory pain reliever (allergic reactions);
- if you suffer from bronchial asthma;
- if you have or have had a stomach or intestinal ulcer or have had intestinal bleeding;
- if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or if you are breastfeeding;
- if you suffer from liver, kidney or heart diseases;
- if you have high blood pressure.
If you are not sure if any of the points above apply to you, ask your doctor.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Ibuprofen is not recommended for use during pregnancy and should be avoided if possible.
The use of ibuprofen should be avoided in the II and III trimesters of pregnancy due to the negative effects on the fetal cardiovascular system.
Ibuprofen is excreted in breast milk in low concentrations and is unlikely to adversely affect the infant.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Rupan should not affect your ability to drive or use machines, but some of the side effects may affect your ability to drive or use machines. You must be sure that you are not affected by the medicine before driving or using machines.
