Indications:
Pharmacotherapeutic group: nasal decongestants for topical use, sympathomimetics.

• acute and chronic allergic rhinitis and sinusitis;
• acute and chronic viral rhinitis and sinusitis;
• tubal catarrh;
• nasal and sinus congestion

Composition:

10 ml of nasal drops solution contain 0.0025 g of oxymetazoline hydrochloride

Administration method:

Grown ups:
The recommended dose is 2-3 drops, in each nostril, 3-4 times a day.
The solution is administered in the form of nasal instillations, with the help of the dropper.
The product will be used for a short period of time (4-6 days).

Children over 7 years old
The recommended dose is 1-2 drops, in each nostril, 2-3 times a day.
The solution is administered in the form of nasal instillations, with the help of the dropper.
The product will be used for a short period of time (4-6 days).

Contraindications:

• Hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline hydrochloride or to any of the product's excipients;
• atrophic rhinitis
• angle closure glaucoma;
• severe organic cardiovascular diseases;
• kidney diseases and severe prostate diseases (risk of urinary retention);
• children under the age of 7;
• Relative contraindications
• administration during breastfeeding is contraindicated;
• the association with bromocriptine, monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and tricyclic antidepressants is contraindicated;

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

It is not recommended to take Rinoxin 0.25 mg/ml during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:

Rinoxin 0.25 mg/ml, administered according to the recommendations, has a negligible influence on the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
Cardiovascular effects possible after prolonged administration of high doses of oxymetazoline hydrochloride may affect the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
