Each capsule combines fish oil, naturally rich in omega-3 acids, with lutein, zeaxanthin and trans-resveratrol. The formula has been additionally enriched with vitamins C and E, as well as zinc and copper to ensure a comprehensive action.

Essential fatty acids (EFAs)

Exogenous fatty acids, also called essential acids - a group of fatty acids that cannot be synthesized in the animal body, including humans, and must be supplied in food. Their main source is fish. Resvega ^® capsules use fish oil as a source of omega-3 acids, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA).

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to maintaining correct vision. The beneficial effect occurs when 250 mg of DHA is consumed per day. The recommended daily dose of the Resvega ^® formula (2 capsules) is up to 366 mg of DHA.

Antioxidants

Vitamin C and vitamin E help protect cells against oxidative stress. Zinc also has a similar effect, which additionally supports the maintenance of correct vision and contributes to the correct metabolism of vitamin A. Vitamin C also helps to regenerate the reduced form of vitamin E.

Lutein and zeaxanthin

Lutein and zeaxanthin are yellow-orange pigments from the group of carotenoids. They occur naturally in plants and thanks to edible plants, especially vegetables, they can be supplied to the body along with a well-balanced diet. In the human body, carotenoids are mainly concentrated in the retina. The food supplement ^Resvega® contains 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zeaxanthin in the recommended daily dose.
