Raplon, 20 tablets, Medochemie
Read the leaflet carefully and completely before you start using this medicine, because it contains important information for you.
Always use this medicine as directed in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
Indications:
- is a non-steroidal analgesic with anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties;
- it is absorbed quickly and completely. That is why it is suitable for acute pain and fever reduction;
- has an analgesic effect, relieves pain and cold and flu symptoms (fever, muscle pain, headache, sore throat);
- indicated for headache, menstrual pain, acute lumbar pain, cold and flu symptoms, febrile conditions, rheumatic pain, muscle pain.
Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains diclofenac potassium 12.5 mg.
Administration method:
Adults and children aged 14 and over:
- The recommended initial daily dose is 2 tablets, then 1 tablet every 4-6 hours.
- Do not use more than 6 tablets per day (75 mg).
- Raplon is intended for short-term use, up to 5 days for pain relief and 3 days for fever relief.
Contraindications:
Do not use Raplon:
- If you are allergic to diclofenac, soybean oil, peanut oil or any of the components of this medicine.
- If you have a diagnosed heart disease and/or cerebrovascular disease, for example if you have had a heart attack, stroke, minor stroke, have blockages in blood vessels in the heart or brain or if you have undergone an intervention
- surgery to remove blockages or bypass them; or if the pumping power of the heart is reduced, giving you tiredness on exertion, palpitations and shortness of breath (heart failure).
- If you have or have had a stomach ulcer or an ulcer in the digestive system.
Precautions:
Before taking Raplon, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, fertility and breast-feeding:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Task:
You should not use Raplon during pregnancy unless your doctor recommends it.
Do not use this medicine during the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it may harm your baby before birth or cause problems at birth.
Breastfeeding:
Do not take Raplon if you are breast-feeding, as it may affect your baby.
Fertility:
Like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the use of Raplon may affect fertility. You should not take this medicine if you want to become pregnant or have difficulty becoming pregnant.
Driving vehicles and using machines:
The use of this medicine does not influence the ability to drive or use machines. However, in rare cases you may suffer from visual disturbances, dizziness or drowsiness.
