Raphacholin® Forte are drugs in the form of film-coated tablets containing a composition of dehydrocholic acid with the addition of black radish extract. The active substance of the drug has a choleretic effect, that is, it increases the volume of visible bile in the liver and accelerates its transport to the duodenum. The increased amount of bile stimulates the functioning of the large intestine, due to which the preparation has a mild laxative effect.
How does Raphacholin® Forte, 30 pieces work?
The dehydrocholic acid contained in the tablets increases the volume of secreted bile, mainly by increasing its water content. The increase in bile volume stimulates the emptying of the gallbladder and accelerates the transport of bile from the site of its production to the duodenum. This action is supported by the radish extract contained in the preparation. In addition, a larger amount of bile stimulates the peristalsis of the large intestine and also determines the laxative effect of the preparation.
The indication for the use of Raphacholin ® Forte 250 mg is the insufficient secretion of bile by the liver, as well as indigestion, which is manifested by flatulence, abdominal pain, belching, nausea and constipation. The tablets can also be used as a mild laxative.
