Burdock is a common biennial plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. Burdock is widely used in many fields, including: cosmetics. It helps fight digestive problems and improve the condition of the skin and hair. The supplement mainly uses burdock root, collected in early spring or autumn, cleaned and dried. Traditionally, burdock oil, decoction, tincture or juice is prepared from it.
Burdock stimulates the production of gastric juice and bile and increases the activity of pancreatic enzymes, thus improving digestion. It supports diuresis and helps to cleanse the body of toxins. It accelerates metabolism and has an immunostimulating effect.
Burdock has a hypoglycemic effect - it lowers the level of glucose in the blood. Its sugar-stabilizing properties are due to: arctigenic acid and inulin, which stimulate insulin secretion by the pancreas and delay glucose absorption.
Burdock root contributes to:
- improving the appearance of the skin and hair,
- cleansing the body through diuretic and diaphoretic effects,
- stimulation of digestion,
- protection against bacteria and fungi,
- reducing inflammation,
- upper respiratory tract health.
Composition: Burdock root extract (Arctium lappa) standardized to contain min. 10% arctin (a compound from the glycoside group).
Capsule composition: vegetable cellulose (vegetarian)
Does not contain crustaceans, eggs, fish, nuts, soy, dairy ingredients, celery, mustard or sesame.
