Description
Pixalzina is an analgesic intended for adults and adolescents over 15 years of age. Each film-coated tablet contains metamizole sodium monohydrate in a dose of 500 mg, which relieves pain.
Metamizole belongs to a group of drugs called pyrazolones. In addition to the analgesic effect, it also has antispasmodic (anticonvulsant) and antipyretic (fever reducing) properties.
What pain does Pixalzina 500 mg treat?
Pixalzine is indicated for the treatment of acute, severe or chronic pain, including:
- headaches and migraines,
- toothache,
- muscle pain and
- post-traumatic and postoperative pain,
- pain caused by renal or biliary colic,
- pain in cancer diseases.
Metamizole 500 mg tablets will also be useful in the treatment of high fever when other methods of treatment are ineffective. The package contains 20 film-coated tablets for immediate use for acute pain.
