Description
Raw pasture, 200ml, Bioremed
Pasture comes from pollen collected by bees and stored in the cells of the combs where, under the influence of the conditions in the hive and the substances added by the bees, it undergoes a fermentation process.
Properties:
- it is fresh pasture, harvested from the honeycombs, but which is not subjected to the drying process;
- contains lactobacilli,
- contains high levels of vitamins and enzymes,
- has a pleasant taste;
- protects liver function due to the high content of amino acids (all essential amino acids are present in a balanced ratio);
- protects the intestinal mucosa by providing rich and easily assimilable nutrients;
- helps to reduce blood concentrations of "bad" cholesterol;
- has an anti-allergic effect by reducing histamine production;
- reduces the effects of stress;
- due to the content of decanoic and pantothenic acids, it helps to improve the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis;
- helps to detoxify the body due to its selenium content;
- useful in physical and intellectual overload;
- helps to improve the immune system.
How is it obtained?
The fermentation process takes about 15 days and takes place in 3 stages:
In the first stage, the aerobic Pseudomonas bacterium develops, which consumes the entire amount of oxygen in the honeycomb cell, which will lead to autoasphyxia of the bacterium.
In the second stage, due to the lack of oxygen, the anaerobic Lactobacillus bacteria develops, which uses carbohydrates as a source of oxygen and produces lactic acid. This lactic acid reaches a concentration of 3% and results in the lowering of ph and the natural preservation of the pasture. As a result of lactic fermentation, the nutritional value increases due to the increased content of prebiotics.
In the 3rd stage, the activity is taken over by yeasts of the Sacharomyces type that use the remaining carbohydrates and finalize the fermentation process.
The difference between pollen and grass:
Pasture is a product with a nutritional value 3 times higher than that of the pollen initially introduced into the combs. The chemical composition of the pasture is similar to that of the pollen from which it comes, with the difference that in the pasture the content of sugars decreases and the content of enzymes and vitamins increases. Also, proteins and carbohydrates are partially hydrolyzed, which makes them more easily absorbed in the intestines. In the pasture, compared to the pollen, vitamin K also appears.
These additions that appear in the pasture are due to both lactic fermentation and changes that occur in the exine. The exine is the covering of the pollen cell, which breaks during the lactic fermentation process, resulting in the release of the entire contents.
