Paracetamol 500 mg, 20 tablets, Zentiva

Paracetamol Zentiva belongs to the group of analgesic-antipyretic drugs (it relieves pain and reduces body temperature in case of fever.

Paracetamol Zentiva is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, with different localizations (headache, sore throat, toothache, pain associated with colds and flu, muscle or joint pain or in case of painful menstruation) and in the symptomatic treatment of fever.

Composition:

• The active substance is paracetamol. Each tablet contains paracetamol 500 mg, in the form of paracetamol DC 555.55 mg
• The other ingredients are: povidone K 30, corn starch, pregelatinized corn starch, sodium starch glycolate, stearic acid, propylhydroxybenzoate (E216), ethylhydroxybenzoate (E214).

Method of administration:

• Always use this medicine exactly as directed your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
• Adults: 1-2 tablets once, repeating the dose, if necessary, every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 6 tablets in 24 hours
• Children 6-12 years: 1/2 of the adult doses
• It is not recommended to administer the medicine to children weighing less than 8 kg
• The recommended duration of treatment is 5 days. The maximum duration of treatment is 10 days

Contraindications:

Do not take Paracetamol Zentiva if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine
• If necessary, Paracetamol Zentiva can be used during pregnancy
• You should use the lowest possible dose that reduces pain and/or fever and use it for the shortest period of time and with the least frequency of administration
• Contact your doctor if the pain and/or fever do not decrease or if you need to take the medicine more often
• Paracetamol Zentiva can be used during breast-feeding, at therapeutic doses and for a short period of time, on the advice of your doctor.

Driving and using machines:

• Paracetamol does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.
