Description
OstroVit ® Pharm Citicoline is a food supplement designed to supplement the daily diet of adults. The recommended daily dose of the product is 2 capsules and contains 500 mg of citicoline supplemented with inulin.
What is citicoline?
Citicoline, also called CDP-choline, is an exogenous form of cytidine 5-di-phosphocholine. After ingestion, citicoline breaks down into choline and cytidine, substances that occur naturally in the body, which undergo further transformation. Choline and cytidine undergo further transformations and participate in various metabolic pathways, including: in the nervous system, including the brain.
Citicoline is characterized by a high degree of absorption, and the safety of its use as an innovative food ingredient has been confirmed by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).
The OstroVit ® Pharm Citicoline 500 mg pack contains 60 capsules, which will provide one month of daily supplementation for an adult.
