Oromed Oro-Color Max, non-contact infrared thermometer

The Oromed Oro-Color Max non-contact infrared thermometer is a medical device designed to non-invasively measure body temperature on the forehead or on the surface of a selected object. It can be used for children and adults.

The device uses infrared radiation technology, which makes the measurement very fast and convenient. It is performed without the need to touch the skin or insert the thermometer probe into any part of the body and allows you to avoid the discomfort that occurs when measuring with an ear thermometer or a traditional thermometer in the armpit, in the mouth and in the anus. Furthermore, it allows temperature measurement without the transfer of microorganisms, thus eliminating the need to incur additional costs related to replacing disposable caps or performing the disinfection process.

The Oromed Oro-Color Max non-contact thermometer is easy to use - just press a button and direct the light beam to the forehead. The measurement takes only one second. The advanced sensor will give a very accurate result, which can be given in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit (whichever you choose). The obtained temperature can be easily read on the backlit LCD screen, even at night. Moreover, the device itself interprets the result and, using the color of the background light, informs whether the body temperature is normal, high or too high. In addition, in the event of an increase in body temperature, it triggers an acoustic signal.

The thermometer remembers the last 64 results and automatically turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity, which reduces power consumption. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries. The package includes a practical box.

Three-color temperature identification – how to interpret display backlighting

• Green color means the temperature is normal and occurs when the body temperature is 34.0°C-37.4°C;
• Orange color means elevated temperature and occurs when the temperature is 37.5°C-37.9°C;
• The red display indicates a temperature in the range of 38.0°C-43.0°C and indicates fever. The display lights up red even when the body temperature is below 34.0°C.
