Indications:
Orocalmin with orange and honey flavor contains the active substance benzidamine hydrochloride. The active substance is the component of the pills that produces the therapeutic effect you need.
Orocalmin with orange and honey flavor is used in the local symptomatic treatment of sore throats in adults and children over 6 years of age.
If after 3 days you do not feel better or if you develop a fever or feel worse, you should see a doctor.

Composition:
- The active substance is benzidamine hydrochloride. One pill contains 3 mg benzidamine hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.68 mg benzidamine).

Administration method:
Always take Orocalmin with orange and honey flavor exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
For adults and children over 6 years of age: one pill 3 times a day should be sucked when you need pain relief. You should not take more than 3 pills a day.
You must not use Orocalmin with orange and honey flavor for more than 7 days.
If after 3 days the symptoms persist or worsen, or if you have a fever, severe sore throat or other symptoms, contact your doctor.
Children aged between 6 and 11 years: the medicine must be administered under the supervision of an adult.
Oropharyngeal use:
Allow a pill to dissolve easily in your mouth.
Do not swallow it.
Do not chew it.

Contraindications:
Do not take this medicine:
- If you have had an allergic reaction (hypersensitivity) to benzidamine hydrochloride or to any of the other components of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before using Orocalmin, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
You must tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or if you are breast-feeding.
Orocalmin with orange and honey flavor should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Driving vehicles and using machines:
Benzidamine hydrochloride does not influence the ability to drive vehicles or use machines.
