How does HMB work?
HMB, i.e. β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate ( Beta-Hydroxy-Beta-Methylbutyrate ), is a bioactive nutrient from the group of short-chain branched fatty acids. It is produced from leucine, which is part of the branched chain amino acids. Grapefruit, alfalfa sprouts and fish can be particularly valuable sources of HMB. Olimp ® Sport Nutrition capsules can also be a great way to supplement your daily diet with hydroxymethylbutyrate. The maximum recommended daily dose is up to 4000 mg of HMB.
