Octenisept ® (0.10 g + 2 g)/ 100 g is a drug in the form of a colorless disinfectant liquid for use on the skin, released without a medical prescription. Kills bacteria, fungi and viruses in 1 minute .
Octenisept ® can be used in adults and children of all ages.
Disinfectant for superficial wounds, mucous membranes and skin in spray, ensuring painless application. It is recommended to use it every time the dressing is changed by applying it directly to the wound. The medicine can be used for rinsing the mouth or in combination with a vaginal applicator, to treat inflammation of the intimate areas or to disinfect the affected skin.
The drug Octenisept ® contains 2 active substances: octenidine dihydrochloride, which acts on the surface of the wound and skin, and phenoxyethanol, which acts in the deeper layers of the skin and mucous membranes. Octenidine contained in the drug is effective against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses, including those resistant to drugs. It does not lose its effectiveness under the influence of protein loads, for example blood, physical exercise; characterized at the same time by high tissue and systemic tolerance. Octenidine is a safe substance for allergy sufferers, children and people with sensitive skin.
The microbiological effectiveness of the drug has been proven both in clinical and laboratory studies. Its effect of destroying microorganisms and inactivating viruses lasts for an hour, which ensures safety during diagnostic, therapeutic or surgical procedures.
