Description
Octenisept ® is a drug with bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties. It is presented in the form of a disinfectant liquid intended for the disinfection of wounds, mucous membranes and skin, presenting a wide spectrum of microbiological effectiveness. It can be used safely in adults, infants and children.
Octenisept ® liquid acts on bacteria, fungi and viruses within 1 minute. Cleans and disinfects small, superficial wounds (abrasions, cuts, scratches), postoperative wounds, mucous membranes and skin. The effect of the drug lasts for an hour, ensuring safety when performing surgical, diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Its active substances are:
- octenidine dihydrochloride: acts on the surface of the wound and the skin,
- phenoxyethanol: acts in the deeper layers of the skin and mucous membranes.
Octenidine dihydrochloride is an effective substance against bacteria, fungi, yeasts and viruses, including drug-resistant strains. It is characterized by high tissue and systemic tolerance and is safe for allergy sufferers, people with sensitive skin and children. Furthermore, octenidine dihydrochloride does not lose its effectiveness under the influence of protein loads (eg blood, exercise).
Octenisept ® liquid can be used by adults and children of all ages.
