- The shepherd's quince owes its name to its quince-shaped fruit. It is a plant recognized for its vasoconstrictive properties in the uterus. It is very useful for women who face imbalances in the menstrual cycle, with an increased menstrual flow, during puberty or menopause.
- Cretisoara is famous for maintaining the health of the female genital system. In German it is also called "Frauenmantel" - lady's coat or "Frauenkraut" - women's plant. Its action is due to the content of tannins that give the uterotonic effect, reducing periodic menstrual discharges, contributing to the restoration of the uterine mucosa.
- Nettle has been traditionally used to reduce menstrual bleeding due to its vitamin K and tannin content. In addition, the nettle is recognized for its hematopoietic action (stimulating the formation of red blood cells), vitaminizing and remineralizing.
- Chestnut leaves contain 9% tannin and other substances, which give them important astringent and hemostatic properties. Tannins are the ones that imprint the astringent taste and manifest the red blood cell precipitation action.
- The oak tree is one of the most widespread trees, but especially highly appreciated in our country, whose bark is often used in phytotherapy. Oak bark has a high content of tannins, substances responsible for its astringent properties, which contribute to the constriction of blood vessels and stop bleeding.
- Raspberry leaves have astringent, uterine blood flow moderation, uterine tonic properties. They are effective in relieving menstrual discomfort.
