It is considered the most complex honey due to the fact that it is the only type of honey that is not extracted by bees from flower pollen, but from fir resins. For this reason, it is the only honey allowed to be consumed (moderately) also by people allergic to pollen. It is a very rare honey collected from the fir forests of the Apuseni mountains.
It is a honey very rich in minerals and bioflavonoids.
It contains up to 8.5 times more minerals than other types of honey . For this reason, it is recommended to be consumed by children, people in convalescence and the elderly.
