Absorbent non-woven pads are suitable for general wound dressing in both outpatient and inpatient procedures. They are characterized by high absorption, allowing the exudate to move quickly from the wound to the dressing.
What are the properties of Medicomp ® 10 cm x 20 cm compresses?
The material from which Medicomp ® Hartmann ® compresses are made is very soft and skin-friendly. Medicomp ® is recommended for outpatient care and home care, especially for patients with sensitive skin (elderly, children).
Sterile dressings allow air to pass through, which speeds up wound healing and allows skin to regenerate. They are sterile, so they can be applied directly to the wound, unlike non-sterile dressings that are used as a top dressing. 4 layers of dressing ensure adequate protection against microorganisms and moisture. The breathable material allows air to pass through without disrupting the skin's natural functions.
Absorbent 4-layer non-woven pads do not delaminate and do not leave fragments in the wound, which ensures comfort when dressing wounds. The non-woven material is bonded purely mechanically.
