Hyalo4 Non-Adhesive Foam Dressing, 10x20 cm, 10 pieces, Fidia Farmaceutici

Properties:
- it is a sterile dressing, made of absorbent polyurethane foam, designed to absorb secretions from the wound, without adhering to the bottom of the wound and helping to change the dressing painlessly;
- the absorption capacity of the dressing is high, the absorbed secretions are directed centrally, which prevents maceration of the skin around the wound;
- the outer layer of the dressing is a pink polyurethane film, with low friction, water-resistant and anti-bacterial;
- maintains the optimal wet environment in the wound to facilitate the healing process;
- it is indicated for acute or chronic wounds, with moderate to abundant secretions;
- such as: bedsores, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, traumatic wounds, grafts, surgical wounds, burns; can also be used as a secondary dressing for penetrating wounds;
- does not contain latex;
- can be used under a compression bandage.

Way of ussage:
Preparing the area and applying the dressing:
1. If necessary, moisten the wound area with appropriate solutions (eg, sterile saline), then dry the surrounding skin before applying the dressing.
2. Choose a Hyalo4 non-adhesive polyurethane foam dressing that is slightly larger than the wound. If necessary, the dressing can be cut to the desired size using sterile scissors.
3. Center the dressing and carefully apply it over the wound (the white part on the wound).
4. You can secure the dressing with a suitable adhesive tape or a non-occlusive bandage to ensure that it does not move. If used under a compression bandage, tape is not necessary.
5. All remaining dressing materials should be disposed of appropriately, taking into account the risk of contamination.

Changing and removing the dressing:
1. The dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days. The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the patient's condition and the amount of secretions.
The dressing will be changed when the secondary dressing has reached its absorbent capacity.
2. Carefully remove the dressing from the wound and dispose of it taking into account the risk of contamination.
3. If necessary, clean the wound area with an appropriate wound cleanser before applying a new dressing.

Ingredients:
Polyurethane foam trilaminated dressing.

Precautions:
Do not use for full thickness burns
Do not use for dry wounds or with a reduced amount of secretions.
Do not reuse in whole or in part, as it may compromise the sterility and/or performance of the dressing.
Hyalo4 non-adhesive polyurethane foam dressing should not be ingested and should be kept out of the reach of children and animals.
Do not cover with an occlusive dressing.
Do not use the dressing for patients with known sensitivity to polyurethane.
Do not use with oxidizing solutions such as hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide, as these may break down the absorbent polyurethane part of the dressing.
Keep dry, at a temperature below 25℃.
