Description
Lactulosum Amara 7.5 g/ 15 ml is a medicine in syrup form intended for adults, children and infants. It is used in chronic constipation and in failing encephalopathy (in adults).
The active substance of the syrup is lactulose - a synthetic disaccharide. After oral administration, it is not broken down by digestive enzymes and is practically not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Lactulose softens the stool and facilitates movement, causing water to pass into the intestine.
Constipation syrup is a liquid with a characteristic strawberry scent. The package contains 150 ml of product in a glass bottle.
