Description
Jarro-Dophilus+Fos 30cps Secom
Association of 6 patented probiotic strains with soluble fibers to support and restore the balance of the intestinal flora.
BENEFITS
Probiotics are live, non-pathogenic microorganisms that support the body against the action of various disruptive factors. Their common name comes from the Greek language and means "for life" (pro = for, bios = life).
They act at the level of the oral cavity, the digestive tract, the respiratory tract and at the level of the genitourinary system.
FOS are soluble fibers (prebiotics), nutritional substrate of beneficial bacteria and are defined as components that can be selectively fermented, causing specific changes, both in the composition and in the activity of the intestinal flora, thus supporting the health of the body.
By combining probiotics with prebiotics, a synbiotic product results.
The main action of probiotics is manifested at the level of the small intestine, and that of prebiotics, at the level of the large intestine, where it favors the multiplication of beneficial Bifidobacterium bacteria.
The strain Bifidobacterium longum BB536 (Morinaga) is produced by Morinaga Milk Industry Co. Tokyo, Japan, and the other five strains are produced by the Rosell-Lallemand Institute Inc., renowned companies in the probiotics industry that provide patented, scientifically researched ingredients.
The benefits and safety of the administration of the 6 selected strains were highlighted through in vitro and in vivo clinical studies.
Through the synergistic action of these 6 strains with different spectra, the increased efficiency of the products is supported.
Properties
Probiotics present:
• resistance to intestinal peristalsis and the ability to colonize the intestine by adhering to the intestinal epithelial cells and by supporting the synthesis of polysaccharides
• can be administered in combination with allopathic antibiotic treatment
• antagonistic action on disturbing factors:
» favors the competitive inhibition of other nutrients and receptors on the intestinal mucosa
» supports the decrease in pH by breaking down carbohydrates into organic acids (lactic, butyric, acetic, propionic, etc.)
» offers support in the production of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) (hydrogen peroxide reduces the adhesion of disruptive factors to the intestinal wall) and natural compounds (bacteriocins) with action on disruptive factors.
Prebiotics (FOS = Fructo-oligosaccharides) (soluble fibers) can act by:
• supporting the action of beneficial bacteria, by increasing the level of Bifidobacteria and Lactobacilli
• maintaining the acid-base balance
• support in limiting the accumulation of toxins
• supporting the limitation of the level of endotoxins, which can generate immune imbalances
balancing the intestinal microbial flora in the face of various disturbing factors and during the administration of some allopathic treatments that can produce changes at its level (e.g. antibiotics)
balancing transit changes (diarrhea or constipation) caused by various disturbing factors by supporting the limitation of their action (digestive manifestations, such as colic, bloating, flatulence, breath of digestive origin) and supporting the repopulation of the intestinal flora
maintaining the function and integrity of the intestinal barrier through support in limiting the growth or adhesion of pathogenic bacteria at the epithelial level
and by supporting the production of antimicrobial compounds
balancing specific and non-specific immunity, through:
» supporting the synthesis of protective cytokines and balancing the level of proinflammatory cytokines
» balancing the level of endotoxins (favoring factors for the appearance of immune reactions)
» favoring the secretion of immunoglobulin A (IgA)
supporting the synthesis of vitamins from the B complex and vitamin K
maintaining the absorption of minerals (calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc) from the small intestine by favoring the reduction of intestinal pH
supporting the digestion of lactose and balancing the manifestations associated with its incomplete digestion (during fermentation, several non-pathogenic bacteria, including numerous strains of Lactobacillus, produce lactase, the enzyme that hydrolyzes lactose and breaks it down into glucose and galactose)
maintaining a normal blood lipid level
