Description
Imodium® Plus 2 mg/125 mg tablets contain loperamide chloride and simethicone and are intended for internal use. Before using the medicine, read the user information carefully or consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage
- Adults: The initial dose is 2 tablets, then 1 tablet after each free stool. A maximum of 4 tablets should be taken per day, and the tablets should not be taken for more than 2 days.
- Adolescents aged 12 to 18 years: The initial dose is 1 tablet, then 1 tablet after each loose stool. A maximum of 4 tablets should be taken per day, and the tablets should not be taken for more than 2 days.
Mode of use
The tablet should be swallowed whole with water. The score is not designed to break the tablet.
Composition
What Imodium® Plus contains: The active ingredients are : loperamide chloride (2 mg per tablet) and simethicone (determined as 125 mg dimethicone per tablet) - Other ingredients are calcium acid phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, acesulfame potassium, artificial flavor of vanilla (includes propylene glycol, maltodextrin, ethanol and benzyl alcohol), carboxymethyl starch A sodium and stearic acid.
