Description
Ibum ® Forte is a drug in the form of an oral suspension with a pleasant strawberry flavor. The active substance of the preparation is ibuprofen, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This compound is characterized by analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effects.
Ibum ® Forte in a dose of 200 mg ibuprofen can be used in infants starting from the age of 3 months and in older children. The indication for administering the preparation is:
- fever of various origins, including flu, colds and post-vaccination reactions,
- pain of various origins, with mild to moderate intensity, such as:
- headache, neck and muscle pain,
- toothache, pain after dental surgery, pain due to teething,
- joint and bone pain resulting from musculoskeletal injuries (e.g. sprains),
- pain resulting from soft tissue injuries,
- postoperative pain,
- earache that occurs due to inflammation of the middle ear.
The dose of Forte (200 mg active substance in 5 ml suspension) is not liquid enough to be administered. The syringe included in the package allows it to be accurately measured and administered to the smallest children.
