Description
The HorienMedical™ Ovulation Test is a rapid immunochromatographic test for the qualitative determination of luteinizing hormone (LH) in a woman's urine. The test allows you to detect the moment of ovulation and determine the optimal moment in the menstrual cycle for conception.
The principle of operation of the ovulation test
The hormone LH is produced by the anterior pituitary gland and its level changes during the menstrual cycle. Under the influence of this hormone, mechanisms are activated in the body that cause the rupture of the follicle and the release of the egg, which, after fertilization, will develop into pregnancy. The level of the hormone LH is the highest just before ovulation, and its maximum concentration occurs approximately 24-36 hours before ovulation. Therefore, the test allows you to determine when the probability of getting pregnant is the highest.
An ovulation test is called a fertility test because it allows you to determine when a woman is most fertile. The product is primarily intended for couples who have problems conceiving, as it allows the accurate determination of the date of ovulation and sexual intercourse before the moment of ovulation, which increases the probability of getting pregnant.
