Herbagetica Macuretin x 60cps
MacuRetin has a unique composition dedicated to clarity of vision, retinal health and visual acuity. Contains all three macular pigments: Meso-Zeaxanthin (12 mg/capsule), Lutein (12 mg/capsule) and Zeaxanthin (2 mg/capsule), needed to protect vision from harmful blue light and UV rays. MacuRetin has a high absorption through association with MCT (coconut oil), and the formula is enriched with 5 vita-minerals: vitamin E, vitamin C, Zinc, Copper and vitamin B2.
Macuretin benefits:
Increases clarity of vision
Increases visual acuity and color intensity
Protects the retina
Protects vision from the effects of oxidative stress
Combats the effects of eye fatigue
Increases collagen production in the eyes
Stimulates blood circulation at eye level
It strengthens the immune system
Ensures the functions of the nervous system
What are macular pigments?
Macular pigments are the "sunglasses" of the eye. They filter 90% of the blue light the eye is exposed to. Macular pigments are found in the macula lutea or yellow spot, it is the area on the retina where the clearest image is formed. There are over 50 types of carotenoids, only 3 accumulate in the retina, in the macula lutea (yellow spot): Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Meso-Zeaxanthin.
MacuRetin contains all 3 macular pigments: Lutein, Zeaxanthin and Meso-Zeaxanthin, obtained from the natural extract of Crăiță flowers. Each capsule of MacuRetin provides:
12 mg Meso-Zeaxanthin
12 mg Lutein
2.4 mg Zeaxanthin
Meso-Zeaxanthin, Lutein and Zeaxanthin together have maximum efficiency for eye health. The antioxidant effect is much more potent by combining the three carotenoids, compared to their individual administration. Meso-Zeaxanthin, Lutein and Zeaxanthin nourish macular pigment, eliminate harmful blue and ultraviolet light and reduce inflammation.
Meso-Zeaxanthin benefits:
MacuRetin contains 12 mg of Meso-Zeaxanthin/capsule, from the standardized extract of Craiță flowers.
Adjuvant in:
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
Retina protection
Diabetic retinopathy
Cataract
Uveitis
Eye fatigue
Vision protection
Clarity of vision
longsightedness
Myopia
Meso-zeaxanthin is one of the three macular pigments with a very important role in eye health. Meso-zeaxanthin is found exclusively inside the eye, specifically in the center of the macula. Meso-zeaxanthin is very difficult to find in the food we eat. It is produced naturally by the body from Lutein and other carotenoids.
Dietary supplementation with Meso-Zeaxanthin is particularly beneficial in maintaining eye health and advanced vision degeneration. Meso-Zeaxanthin contributes to:
optimal retinal pigment thickness
protection of the eye from light with a more intense shade of blue, tending towards violet
filtering UV radiation that can damage the eye and vision
protects the eye tissue from artificial sources of intense light, such as computer screens, phones or tablets
MacuRetin also contains 12 mg of Lutein/capsule and 2 mg of Zeaxanthin/capsule, obtained from the extract of the flower of Crăță. Together, these two macular pigments act as a filter for blue light and UV radiation, providing protection for the eye's photoreceptor cells. In addition, they also have an intense antioxidant effect. Lutein and Zeaxanthin effectively contribute to the clarity of vision, the protection of the eye and the delay of advanced deterioration of vision.
Vitamin and mineral complex for retinal health
MacuRetin contains a complex of vitamins and minerals dedicated to eye health. vitamin E, vitamin C, Zinc, Copper and vitamin B2. Together, they help in the production of enzymes with an antioxidant role, in the production of photoreceptors, protect the retina from advanced degradation, have a strong antioxidant effect, protect against UV rays and ensure the structural integrity of the retina.
