Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis) is a plant indigenous to North America, also known as Indian turmeric, yellow root or wild curcuma. Its root was used by the Cherokee Indians to treat colds, flu, skin infections, ulcers and gonorrhea.

Specialists claim that Goldenseal extract has a broad spectrum of action, inhibiting the multiplication of bacteria such as: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogene, Helicobacter pylori, Chlamydia trachomatis, Bacillus subtilis, Proteus, Clostridium perfringens, Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella parathyphi, Klebsiela, Escherichia coli.

Goldenseal extract contains unique bioactive components: isoquinoline alkaloids (berberine, hydrastine, canadine), biotin, volatile oils, resins, inositol, vitamins A, C and E, minerals and phytosterols.

The main active substance is berberine, an alkaloid with numerous beneficial effects: anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, immunostimulatory, hemostatic, astringent and, last but not least, anti-tumor action. There are studies that recognize the positive role in anticancer therapies, due to the destructive action on telomerase, the enzyme that favors the abnormal division of tumor cells, detected in more than 85% of cancerous tumors.

Ingredients/capsule:

• Goldenseal root extract (Hydrastis canadensis), standardized with 10% alkaloids expressed in berberine – 300 mg/capsule
• Rice flour (natural bulking agent)
• Vegetable capsule: hypromellose.

Does not contain lactose, gluten, soy, magnesium stearate, artificial sweeteners or chemical additives!

Administration method:

• One capsule 2-3 times a day, during the meal, or as recommended by the specialist
• Not to be consumed more than 2 weeks per month.

Precautions:

• People with type II diabetes or hypertension should consult a specialist before use
