Glucose is intended for dietary management in order to perform an oral glucose tolerance test (sugar curve), as well as in hypoglycemic states in patients diagnosed with diabetes (for example, in case of insulin overdose), or in states of carbohydrate deficiency , states of exhaustion, for example after long-term physical exercise.

Do not exceed the recommended portion of the product for consumption during the day.

Instructions for use:

Oral glucose tolerance test: after testing fasting blood glucose, dissolve 75 g of glucose (the contents of the entire package) in a glass of water (200-300 ml), drink the solution within 3-5 minutes. The next glucose test is performed after 120 minutes.

Contraindications:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product.

Storage conditions:

Keep out of reach of small children! Store in a dry place at room temperature between 10 and 25 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

If you have symptoms of low blood sugar that can cause hypoglycaemia, you should take 10-20 g of glucose as soon as possible. 10-20 g of glucose causes a rise in blood sugar after about 10-20 minutes. To avoid another hypoglycemic event, eat complex carbohydrates and repeat the blood glucose test after 60 minutes. In patients treated with intensive insulin therapy, using insulin analogs or during treatment with a personal insulin pump, in case of hypoglycemia, 15 g of glucose is administered orally and blood glucose is checked after 15 minutes. If the glycemic value is still low, repeat the glucose administration and check the glucose level after another 15 minutes (15/15 rule).

In states of exhaustion, after exertion: you can take a spoonful of glucose (5g 20g).
