Strataderm Abnormal Scar Treatment Gel, 10g, Synerga Pharmaceuticals

Properties:

• is the silicone gel formula recommended by international guidelines for the treatment of mature or newly developed abnormal scars (hypertrophic and keloid type);
• it is a class I medical device;
• when applied to the skin, a negatively charged electrostatic field is created that realigns the collagen fibers in the direction of the lines of force, implicitly increasing the tissue's elasticity and resistance to stretching or tension;
• reduces associated symptoms: itching, pain, erythema;
• it evens out the color with the surrounding tissues and reshapes the scars in relief;
• indicated in the effective treatment of hypertrophic or keloid scars, new and old (not older than 2 years), post invasive procedures for the correction of keloid scars, non-invasive treatment of hypertrophic, keloid or atrophic scars, prevention of abnormal scarring, especially in people with risk (those who have a family or personal history of abnormal scarring);
• the only local therapy with efficiency demonstrated in numerous clinical studies and recommended by the International Guidelines for the Management of Scars;
• easy application on any area, including junctions or areas covered by hair, without requiring prior hair removal;
• very good tolerability profile, it can also be used by patients with sensitive skin or small children;
• safety and administration during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications:

The application of Strataderm on wounds or mucous membranes is contraindicated. Do not apply over other topical treatments.

Polydimethylsiloxane, Siloxane, Alkyl Methyl Silicone.

Way of ussage:

Provides treatment of a 5–7 cm linear scar. It is applied once a day for 90 days.
