What is activated carbon?
Activated charcoal, also known as activated charcoal, is an ingredient with strong absorption properties. It is created in the process of carbonizing the raw material, which is most often wood, and activating it using, for example, steam. Activated carbon consists mainly of elemental carbon. After ingestion, it is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is excreted in the feces.
The capsule shell is made of hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HMPC) and, like its contents, does not contain ingredients of animal origin - the Activated Charcoal dietary supplement can be used by vegans and vegetarians.
