PreNAN® is a complete nutritional formula and can be used as the sole source of nutrition, from birth, or as additional nutrition from 6 months, in parallel with complementary nutrition. PreNAN® is used under medical supervision

Properties:

• PreNAN® Stage 2 is a food intended for special medical purposes, which provides the appropriate amounts of nutrients to cover the rapidly developing needs of low birth weight infants over 1.8 kg (premature and preterm)
• For the dietary regime of low birth weight and prematurity infants
• Hydrolyzed proteins, easy to digest
• DHA, ARA
• Structured lipids
• PreNAN® has a caloric density and protein level suitable for recovery of infant growth after hospital discharge
• Use of PreNAN® after discharge, even up to 9 months of age (if applicable), may result in faster growth in length and weight compared to a standard infant formula.

Preparation:

• Wash your hands before preparing infant formula
• Wash the bottle, teat and lid thoroughly until no traces of milk remain
• Boil them for 5 minutes. Leave them covered until ready to use
• Boil drinking water for 5 minutes, then let it cool (~40°C)
• Consult the administration method and pour exactly the amount of water required
• Just use the measure from the box and level the powder with the inner ring without pressing
• Consult the administration method; add the exact number of shaved measures corresponding to the infant's age
• After use, place the hanging measure in the space inside the box as shown in the picture
• Close the bottle and shake well until the powder has completely dissolved
• Close the box tightly after each use and store in a cool, dry place
• The product must be consumed within a maximum of 3 weeks after opening the box.

Precautions:

• Unboiled water, unboiled bottles or incorrect dilution can make your baby sick
• Improper storage, handling, preparation and feeding can have adverse effects on your baby's health
• Prepare only one bottle at a time. Feed the infant immediately and follow the instructions exactly
• Do not keep an unfinished bottle, throw away the unconsumed contents
• Always hold the infant when feeding
• If you leave him unattended he can drown.

* To preserve the number of live cultures, boiled water should be cooled to 40° C before adding the powder.

• Do not use more or less powder than indicated, as this can lead to either dehydration or insufficient nutrition for your baby
• Do not change the proportions without the doctor's advice.

Contraindications:

PreNAN® cannot be administered in case of GALACTOSEMIA, GLUCOSE-GALACTOSE malabsorption or in infants diagnosed with lactose intolerance or cow's milk protein allergy. It is not intended for parenteral administration.

• Breast milk is the best food for infants and breastfeeding should continue for as long as possible
